MAE is headquartered in Peschiera Borromeo (MI), in the northern part of Italy. For more than 60 years MAE has been providing motion solutions across Europe, South America, and other regions. 

Since 1990, MAE has been part of AMETEK SRL. Within the "Electromechanical Group" of AMETEK, MAE belongs to the Division "Advanced Motion Solutions". Within the last few years Dunkermotoren and MAE have grown together increasingly. With a leading joint Managing Director, Sales, Engineering, Production and Purchasing organizations, both companies are now working together side by side every day. With approximately 600 employees MAE “keeps the world moving”.
